Buffet des Continents DELIVERS $41,486.50 TO ORGANIZATIONS HELPING SENIORS

This is the fourth consecutive year that the Buffet des Continents chain has organized such an event for the benefit of senior-focused charities at its restaurants in Quebec City, Trois-Rivières, Sherbrooke, Gatineau, Mascouche, Saint-Jérôme and Drummondville. In four years, some 19,504 seniors have received a free meal thanks to their donations totalling $126,429.55.

“Organizations that help seniors also need to be supported in their activities. These needs are growing in Quebec because of increased life expectancy. In such a context, it is important to assist organizations that provide aid, support, meals, activities and recreational opportunities to the seniors who helped build the high-quality society in which we live today,” explains Tony Priftakis, speaking on behalf of the Buffet des Continents restaurant chain.

Founded almost 20 years ago, the Buffet des Continents restaurant chain has demonstrated strong community commitment from the outset through its support of charitable organizations and social, sports and community activities.

These social commitments transcend the values of the entire chain, its owners and employees. Buffet des Continents is involved in a large number of community, social and sports associations, and supports charitable organizations throughout the year, including a volunteer appreciation evening and a non-perishable food drive during the holiday season.
